Reasi, Sep 14 (GNS): An 18-year-old girl died of a gunshot injury under mysterious circumstances at her residence in Panassa area of Thakrakote block in Reasi district late last night.
Officials told GNS that the deceased has been identified as Priyanka Devi, daughter of Kapoor Singh, resident of Panassa, Thakrakote.
As per initial reports, the girl allegedly shot herself dead at her house. The exact circumstances leading to the incident are yet to be ascertained.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and started investigation.(GNS)
