235 fresh covid-19 cases report in J&K

Srinagar, March 29 (GNS): Jammu and Kashmir reported 235 fresh covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total infection tally to 130228, the official told GNS.

While the cases are lesser as compared to last couple of days, it was for the fourth running day that J&K reported more than 200 fresh covid-19 cases in a single. Also, it was for the fourteenth consecutive day that more than 100 cases were reported on a single day in J&K. In all, nearly 2500 cases were added to the tally in the last two week, they said.  

Among the fresh cases, they said, 51 were from Jammu Division and 184 from Kashmir Valley.

Giving the district wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 99 cases, Baramulla 35, Budgam 18, Pulwama 12, Kupwara 0, Anantnag 14, Bandipora 4, Ganderbal 1, Kulgam 0, Shopian 1, Jammu 19,  Udhampur 3, Rajouri 1, Doda 1, Kathua 0, Samba 1, Kishtwar 16, Poonch 0, Ramban 5, and Reasi 5.

A number of these cases were confirmed at SKIMS Soura, CD hospital and GMC Anantnag’s diagnostic laboratories.

The SKIMS cases include male (39) from 28 RR Chandigam Kupwara, male (37) from 338 Med Regt Panzgam Kupwara, male (22) from Airport Stop Sgr, Female (13) from Hyderpora Sgr, female (58) from Elahibagh Sgr, male (50) from Awantabhawan Sgr, male (26) from Awantabhawan Sgr, female (50) from Awantabhawan Sgr, male (32) from Lalchowk Sgr, female (50) from Lalchowk Sgr, male (28) from Soura Sgr, male (43) from Rawalpora Sgr, female (70) from Nowshera Sgr, female (20) from Nowshera Sgr, female (37) from Bagi mehtab Sgr, male (38) from Bagi mehtab Sgr, female (04) from Bagi mehtab Sgr, male (60) from Uri baramulla, female (70) from Sopore, female (80) from Sehpora ganderbal, male (57) from Hazratbal Sgrand male (56) from Alamdar Sgr.

The CD cases include female (43) from Dalgate, two females (52, 20) from Hawal, two males (15, 56) and female (52) from Shivpora, female (51) from Sempora, female (31) from Wuyan, female (40) from Drangbal Pampore, male (30) from Seerbag Lasjan, three males (07, 28) and five females (37, 09, 05, 24, 10) from Ratnipora, female (35) from Lal Bazar, male (40) from Madeen Sahib, male (35) from Nigeen Hazratbal, male (10) from Lal Bazar, male (24) from Nowshera, male (65) from Natipora, female (20) from Bemina, female (17) from Tangpora, male (23) from Batmaloo, female (23) from Parimpora, female (43) from Rajbagh, male (48) and female (46) from Umerabad, male (40) from Chanapora, male (70) and female (70) from Alochibagh, male (38) from Parimpora, male (65) from Sanat Nagar, two males (30, 25) from BB Cantt, male (11) from Iqbal Colony Srg, female (57) from Hyderpora.

The GMC Anantnag cases  include male (75) from Mattan, male (57) from YK Pora, male (45) from Ps Adpora, male (58) from HSS DH Pora, male (34) from MS Sailkhanjan, male (34) from PS Reshipora.

Moreover, they said, 126 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—22 from Jammu Division and 104 from Kashmir Division. (GNS)
