Jammu, Sep 29 (GNS): At least four Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel including an Assistant Commandant and a Sub-Inspector were killed in an incident of fratricidal firing inside a CISF camp in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, officials said.
Officials told GNS that the firing occurred between personnel at the Sewa Power Project CISF camp in Mashka area of Basoli in Kathua district.
The deceased have been identified as Assistant Commandant Ankit Kumar Pandey, SI Lakshman Singh, Constable Rafiq Ahmed and Constable Sandeep Kumar.
Police team rushed to the spot upon receiving information about the incident and have started investigation into the matter.
