Srinagar, April 25 (GNS): Four residential houses were damaged in a massive blaze in Brane Nishat area in outskirts of Srinagar on Monday.
They said the fire emanated from one residential house around 5:30 p.m. and engulfed at least three other houses in the vicinity.
An official of the fire and emergency department here said that fire tenders from five stations were rushed to the area to douse off the flames in the congested locality. While local reports reaching GNS that one person has suffered injuries, official confirmation was awaited. Immediately cause of the fire was also not known even as one structure suffered substantial damage while attic portion of three others was damaged. Police said that a case has been registered and further investigations are underway. (GNS)
