Srinagar, Dec 12 (GNS): 23 travelers, nine soldiers and two minors were among 419 fresh novel coronavirus cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir in last 24 hours, taking the number of people infected with virus to 115626. Also seven deaths were reported—four from Jammu and three from Valley.  

Among these cases, 208 were reported from Jammu Division and 211 from Kashmir Valley, the officials told GNS.

Giving district wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 89 cases, Baramulla 24, Budgam 35, Kupwara 14,

Pulwama 10, Anantnag 5, Bandipora 9, Ganderbal 16, Kulgam 0, Shopian 9, Jammu 118, Udhampur 26,

Rajouri 12, Doda 9, Kathua 13, Kishtwar 13, Samba 11, Poonch 2, Ramban 3 and Reasi 1. (GNS)

Most of these cases were confirmed at diagnostic laboratories of SKIMS Soura, CD hospital and GMC Anantnag .

The SKIMS cases include female (66) from Narkara Budgam, female (47) from Buchpora, female (25) from Shivpora, female (31) from Baghat, male (38) from Illahibagh, male (48) from Soura, male (29) from Lal Bazar, male (20) from Lasjan, male (80) from Buchpora, female (60) from Lal Bazar, male (50) from Ahmadnagar, male (63) from Illahibagh, male (92) from Baghat, male (67) from Natipora, female (60) from Soura Srinagar, two males (35, 75) from Sopore Baramulla, female (70) from Wangath, male (68) from Chanduna, female (60) from Haran Ganderbal, male (68) from Vijpara Bandipora, male (27) from NA Shopian, female (23) from Kargil, male (NA) from NA, Kupwara cases include male (40) from Haihama

The CD cases include female (31) from Namlabal Pampore, male (65) from Lalpora, male (33) from Balhama Srinagar, nine males (36, 53, 55, 29, 27, 36, 24, 43, 44) from BB Cantt, female (NA) from Qamarwari Srg, female (44) from Rawalpora Srg, male (48) from Soura Srg, three males (50, 50, 70) from NA, male (38) from Repora Ganderbal, female (65) and male (70) from Fateh Kadal, female (50) from HMT, male (18) from Bandipora, male (38) from Eidgah, male (70) from Bandipora, female (65) from Chadoora, female (55) from Bandipora, male (07) from Nowdal, female (25) from Kachipora, male (30) from Gusoo, male (24) and female (65) from Tulbagh Pampore, male (80) from Qamarwari, female (50) from HMT, male (75) from Chadoora Budgam, female (70) from Chatripora Pulwama, male (75) from Tangmarg Baramulla.

The GMC Anantnag cases include male (27) from Kadder, male (26) from HS Bugh, male (18) from Hyderpora Danter, three females (45, 08, 40) and male (12) from Borihallan Spn, male (33) from Arwani, female (42) from Poniwah Kulgam, male (55) from Durpora, female (45) from Zainapora, male (45) from Kadalbal, female (35) from Reban, male (25) from Arwani, male (22) from Reban, male (17) from Reshi, female (47) from Awneera, female (26) from Sangran, female (32) from Iqbalabad Anantnag, female (50) from Keller, male (35) from Dunaroo, male (35) and female (30) from Keller.

Moreover, they said, 430 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals— 226 from Jammu Division and 204 from Kashmir Valley. (GNS)
