4 Persons Including Wife Of One Of The Dead Injured, Hospitalized
Srinagar, Feb 5 (GNS): Two persons were killed and four others, including two women, were injured when in a collision between two vehicles near Bijbhera on Jammu-Srinagar highway on Friday.
Official sources told GNS that a ‘Tavera’ vehicle (JK-01N 9983) and ‘Santro’ (JK-03D-0141) collided with each other near Simthan area of Bijbehara this afternoon, resulting in death to sic persons.
They said that all the injured were removed to hospital where doctors declared two of them, Mohammad Syed Yatoo (48) son of Mohammad Yousuf Yatoo of Achidora and Mohammad Ayoub Wani (50) son of Mohammad Abdullah of Anchidora
Four injured Parveen (50) wife of Abdul Rashid Dar of Anchidora, Amina (middle aged) wife of Mohammad Syed Yatoo (dead), Ghulam Hassan Dar son of Ghulam Ahmad Dar (60) of Dagerpora and Mustafeem (24) son of Abdul Rashid Dar of Anchidora. The injured have been admitted to Anantnag hospital, they said.
Meanwhile, police said that a case has been registered and investigations taken up. (GNS)
