Srinagar: The University of Kashmir on Wednesday announced postponement of all examinations slated for August 28, 2025, citing inclement weather conditions across the region.
In its notification, the Office of the Controller of Examinations stated that fresh dates for the postponed papers will be announced separately. Students in the meantime have been advised to regularly check the university’s official website and notifications for updates regarding the revised schedule.
Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Higher Education Department has also ordered the closure of all universities in the Union Territory on August 28, 2025. The decision, as per an official order, has been taken in view of prevailing adverse weather conditions.
