Schools in Division to Remain Closed on Sept 2 Amid Heavy Rains Forecast
Jammu, Sep 1 : The Directorate of School Education Jammu on Monday ordered online classes wherever possible and ordered the closure of all government and private schools across Jammu division for September 2 due to incessant rains and landslides in hilly areas.
An Order issued by DSEJ as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, In view of the weather alerts and incessant rainfall causing landslides in hilly areas, and in order to ensure the safety of students and staff, it is hereby ordered that all government and private schools across Jammu Division shall continue to remain closed on 02-09-2025.
Additionally, it is directed that online classes be conducted wherever possible, reads the order. (KNC)
