Ramban, Dec 12: Authorities in Ramban district have placed a government school teacher under suspension with immediate effect for unspecified reasons, as per an official order issued by the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Ramban.
According to the suspension order accessed by news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC), Balwant Singh, Teacher Grade-II, serving at Government Primary School Killaseri, Zone Batote, has been suspended under Rule 31 of the J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1956.
The order further states that during the suspension period, the teacher shall remain attached to the office of the Chief Education Officer Ramban until further instructions. The suspension was formalized under order number CEO/R/2025/32497-500, dated 10-12-2025.
Further departmental procedures are expected to follow as per rules. (KNC)
