Srinagar, Dec 31: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday assigned additional charge of the Higher Education Department to IAS officer Ram Niwas Sharma.
According to an order issued by the General Administration Department, Sh. Ram Niwas Sharma, IAS (AGMUT:2010) as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, presently serving as Secretary to the Government, School Education Department, has been entrusted with the additional charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Higher Education Department.
The order states that the additional responsibility has been assigned in the interest of administration and will remain in force till further orders. The government order in this regard was issued on December 31, 2025.
