Baramulla, May 10 (GNS): The Baramulla administration has placed Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Boniyar, Abdul Rehman Lone, under suspension with immediate effect over alleged gross dereliction of duty, poor performance and failure to submit the required Action Plan.
According to an order issued by the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, a copy of which lies with GNS, the suspension will remain in force pending initiation of formal disciplinary proceedings against the officer.
The order stated that during the suspension period, the officer shall remain attached with the Office of the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla until further orders. (GNS)
