Jammu, Oct 15 (GNS): Police and security forces recovered arms and ammunition on Rahwali Nari of Reasi district’s Mahore area.
“On an information about presence of a hideout, search operation was conducted for two days in which hideout was busted. One AK-47 Rifle and magazine, cartridges of AK 47, an Under Barrel Grenade launcher, grenades, a wireless Walkie-Talkie were recovered and seized,” a police spokesman said in a statement to GNS.
In this regards, he said, a case (FIR no 82/2021) U/S 120-B, 121, 121-A, 122, 123, 124 IPC & 13, 18, 23, 39 UAPA, 7/25 Arms Act stands registered at Police Station Mahore and investigations set in.
“It’s a second recovery in two weeks after recovery of an IED from Mahore area under the jurisdiction of Police Station Chasana.” (GNS)
