Apni Party Expels Chief S’person Muntazir Mohiuddin Over ‘Irrelevant, Inappropriate’ Statements

Srinagar: Altaf Bukhari led Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party on Wednesday announced expulsion of its Chief Spokesperson, Muntazir Mohiuddin, from the party’s basic membership with immediate effect, citing his recent press statements as “irrelevant and inappropriate.”

According to a press release issued by the party, the decision, was taken unanimously during a meeting of the Parliamentary Affairs Committee (PAC) held at the party headquarters in Church Lane, Sonwar, Srinagar, under the chairmanship of Mohammad Dilawar Mir.

“The Committee took serious note of the recent irrelevant and inappropriate press statements issued by the Party’s Chief Spokesperson, Mr. Muntazir Mohiuddin, which were found to be not in the interest of the Party,” reads the statement as per Alfaaz – The Words.

“Following deliberations, the PAC unanimously decided to expel Mohiuddin from the basic membership of the party.”

Reiterating its commitment to discipline and collective responsibility, the party said it remains dedicated to maintaining unity and organizational integrity among all its members and office bearers.
