Poonch, Aug 5 : The Indian Army on Tuesday dismissed reports circulating in some media outlets and social media platforms about a ceasefire violation along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Poonch sector.
Indian Army in a statement issued here to news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC that the reports are “incorrect and misleading.”
“It is clarified that there has been no ceasefire violation along the Line of Control. Please avoid spreading unverified information,” the Indian Army stated.
The clarification comes amid heightened speculation on social media about cross-border firing in Poonch. (KNC)
