Srinagar, April 2 (GNS): Police on Thursday recovered body of a youth, who went missing after an avalanche, hit Gurez area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district in February this year.
Reports reaching GNS said that body of Javed Ahmed Lone, son of Abdul Aziz Lone of Dangithal Tulail was recovered today from Kishanganga River after 46 days. Lone went missing on February 15 after coming under an avalanche at Chak Nallah in the border area of Gurez. Two other persons had miraculously survived in the incident.
The body of the youth was handed over to his family after completion of medico-legal formalities, a police officer told GNS. (GNS)
