Srinagar, Apr 2: (GNS) Lieutenant Governer-led dispensation has on Friday granted assent to the constitution of a committee to resolve issues vis-à-vis seniority of employees appointed under Prime Minister’s Special Package in different departments in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Administrative Secretary, Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction will act as Chairman and Administrative Secretary, Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs besides (a) Representative of General Administration Department (not below the rank of Additional Secretary) alongside a Representative of PW(R&B) Department (not below the rank of Additional Secretary) will act as members of the Committee, reads an order, of which a copy lies with Srinagar-based news agency Global News Service (GNS).
“The Committee shall be serviced by the Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation & Reconstruction and shall submit its report to the Government within a period of (15) days”, the order states further. (GNS)
