Jammu, May 22 (GNS) : Pakistan continued violating ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC) for the fifth consecutive day on Friday by using small arms and mortars in Poonch and Rajouri districts of Jammu Divison. Reports reaching GNS said, for the fifth consecutive day, Pakistan army used small arms and was shelling with mortars to target the Indian positions on the LoC in the two districts. Reports said, Indo Pak armies on early Friday exchanged gunfire along line of control LOC in Krishna Ghati and Nowshera sectors in Poonch and Rajouri districts. An army official told GNS, that at about 03:30 AM, the Pakistan army resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing with small arms and mortar shells along LoC in Krishna Ghati sector. He said in second attempt at about 07:20 AM, Pakistan army then resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation in Nowshera sector of Rajouri, which was retailated effectively he added.
