Srinagar, Aug 23(GNS): SDRF J&K carried out multiple rescue and search operations across Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.
Officials told GNS that at Chandi Ghar, Akhnoor, SDRF in coordination with Army, Police and local swimmers rescued three persons trapped in Chenab River.
In Ramban, SDRF team responded to a truck accident near Khooni Nallah where the driver was found safe.
They said SDRF teams also remained deployed on Yatra duty at Mandi, Poonch.
At Bunjwah in Kishtwar, search for a missing woman continued for second consecutive day amid strong water currents, however no trace was found.
Meanwhile, at Fatehpora in Ganderbal, SDRF launched a search and rescue operation after report of a 9-year-old boy drowning in Nallah Sindh.(GNS)
