Srinagar, September 30(GNS): The authorities have ordered change in school timings in Kashmir Valley, beginning from 3rd October.

“All the Government and Private(recognized) Schools of Kashmir Division shall observe school timings as 9:00 am to 3:00 pm within Municipal limits of Srinagar city and 10:00 am to 4:00 pm in areas falling outside Municipal limits of Srinagar w.e.f 03.10.2025,” Directorate of School Education Department said in a order, a copy of which lies with GNS.

The practice of changing school timings in J&K occurs according to the season, prioritizing the welfare and safety of school-going students..(GNS)
