Baramulla, Oct 31: A fire broke out in the cowshed of one Ghulam Hassan Bhat at Rohama area of Rafiabad on Friday, officials said.
An official told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) personnel swiftly reached the spot and managed to bring the blaze under control, preventing it from spreading to nearby structures.
During the firefighting operation, one fireman, identified as Ghulam Qadir Angar (Belt No. 1263/FES), sustained injuries and was shifted to GMC Baramulla for medical treatment.
The cause of the fire is being ascertained. (KNC)
