Qazigund, August 18 : Five CRPF personnel were injured after a truck collided with a CRPF bunker vehicle at Levdora area of Qazigund along the Jammu–Srinagar National Highway in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday.
Officials said the accident occurred when truck JK02DU-4386 collided with CRPF bunker vehicle JK02CG-5795 at Levdora, causing the bunker vehicle to turn turtle.
Five CRPF personnel sustained injuries in the accident and were immediately shifted to the MI Room of 163 Battalion CRPF, Qazigund, for medical treatment. Their injuries were reported to be minor.
The injured personnel have been identified as Insp. Raj Kumar Tiwari, SI/GD Rajinder Singh, ASI/GD Lovenday, ASI/GD Umesh Kumar and HC Driver Virender.
Police reached the spot and initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances leading to the collision.
