Says Matter of reopening of closed tourist destinations taken up with centre
Srinagar, Feb 10 : Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday announced that the government will initiate the process of regularising daily wagers in the Union Territory this year.
Replying during the budget discussion in the J&K Assembly, CM Omar, as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, said, “The government will start the process of regularisation of daily wagers this year.”
Addressing concerns about tourism, the Chief Minister added, “As some members spoke about reopening of closed tourist spots, I assure all of them that the matter has already been taken up with the Government of India, and hopefully all destinations will be reopened in the next few months.” (KNC)
