Srinagar, Sep 30: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for submission of online examination forms for the December 2026 Term-End Examinations (TEE) for both Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online programmes.
According to a notification issued by the Student Evaluation Division, students can now submit their examination forms without any late fee up to October 7, 2026.
Students who miss the extended deadline will be allowed to submit their forms with a late fee of ₹1,100 from October 8 to October 15, 2026.
The university said the extension has been approved by the competent authority and applies to candidates appearing in the December 2026 TEE under both ODL and online programmes.
IGNOU has directed its regional centres and concerned academic units to disseminate the notification among students and upload it on their respective platforms to ensure wider awareness of the revised deadlines.
Students appearing in the December 2026 examinations have been advised to complete the online examination form submission within the stipulated period to avoid the additional late fee.
