Police in Baramulla have seized 04 vehicles and arrested their drivers for illegal extraction and transportation of minerals at Ferozpora Tangmarg, Singhpora Pattan & Kungamdara.
Police under the supervision of SDPO Tangmarg & SDPO Pattan assisted by SHO PS Tangmarg, IC PP Mirgund & Kungamdara seized 04 vehicles (01 tipper & 03 tractors), besides arresting four drivers. They have been identified as Fayaz Ahmad Malla son of Bashir Ahmad resident of Pati Yangoora, Gulzar Ahmad Teli son of Mohammad Akbar resident of Hanjiwera Payeen, Yasir Ali Dar son of Mohsin Dar resident of Kripalpora Payeen & Naseer Ahmad Ganie son of Noor Mohd Ganie resident of Babagund Pattan.
The drivers alongwith his vehicles were found involved in illegal extraction/transportation of minerals and accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law have been registered at Police Station Tangmarg & Police Station Pattan and investigations have been initiated.
