Cracking a whip on illegal mining of minerals at Budmulla Baramulla, Police seized two tractors, besides arrested a driver.
Police party under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Baramulla assisted by SHO PS Sheeri, seized 02 Tractors & arrested 01 driver identified as Muzamil Bilal Bhat son of Bilal Ahmad resident of Zoogiyar. The drive of another tractor namely Nisar Ahmad Lone son of Bashir Ahmad resident of Budmulla fled away from the spot and efforts are on to trace him.
They were found involved in illegal extraction/transportation of minerals and accordingly case under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Sheeri and investigation has been initiated.
