Samba, Sep 24: Police have registered a case after a late-night firing incident near a tea stall in Tarore area of Bari Brahmana in Samba district left a 30-year-old man injured, officials said.
Two to three rounds were allegedly fired during the incident, injuring Vishal Singh alias Vishu, son of Narinder Singh, a resident of Rahya in Vijaypur area of Samba.
Singh sustained an injury to his leg and was shifted to AIIMS Vijaypur for treatment.
Police have registered a case in connection with the incident and started investigation into the circumstances leading to the firing and the persons involved.[KNT]
