Jammu, Feb 7 : A Jammu and Kashmir Police Sub-Inspector, was found dead in RS Pura area of Jammu, on Saturday, officials said.
Officials told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, that the PSI was identified as identified as Abid Bashir, resident of Tarathpora, Kupwara.
Abid Bashir was posted at Police Station RS Pura. The exact circumstances leading to his death were not immediately known, and officials said further details are awaited.
Police have taken cognizance of the matter and initiated necessary proceedings. (KNC)
