November 30: In a continued crackdown on drug menace, J&K Police in Sopore have arrested a drug peddler and recovered Psychotropic substance from his possession.
A police party of Police Station Sopore, at a checkpoint at Downtown near Samad Complex, intercepted a suspicious individual identified a Waseem Ahmad Bhat, son of Ghulam Nabi Bhat, resident of Badambagh Sopore. During his personal search, psychotropic substances were recovered from his possession. The contraband Substance was seized on the spot and the accused was arrested. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 267/2025 has been registered at Police Station Sopore and investigation has been initiated.
