October 05: Mock drill on Law & Order Preparedness and Response was conducted at District Police Lines Kupwara, in coordination with SDRF Kupwara. The drill was aimed at assessing the operational preparedness, response mechanism, communication and coordination between Police and SDRF personnel in dealing with a simulated law and order situation.
During the exercise, the participating personnel demonstrated their preparedness and performed their assigned duties effectively. Emphasis was laid on quick mobilisation, effective communication, inter-agency coordination, crowd-control measures, rescue and evacuation, and maintenance of law and order.
The performance of the participating personnel was assessed by the supervising officers, who also issued necessary directions for further improving response time, coordination, discipline and operational effectiveness.
