J&K Police Wrestlers Clinch Gold at World Police and Fire Games in US

Srinagar, July 4 : Two personnel of Jammu and Kashmir Police have brought international laurels by clinching gold medals in wrestling at the ongoing World Police and Fire Games being held in Birmingham, United States.

Details available with news agency JKNS stated that the Constables Bania Min and Ishaq showcased outstanding strength, technique, and perseverance to secure top podium positions in their respective categories, winning gold for the department and the country.

Congratulating the medalists, a J&K Police spokesperson said, “Their grit and determination have brought glory to the force. They exemplify the spirit of excellence, and we are proud of their achievement on the global stage.”

The World Police and Fire Games is a prestigious international event that draws participation from law enforcement and emergency service personnel from across the globe. The victory by the J&K Police athletes highlights the physical preparedness and global competitiveness of the force.

Senior police officers have extended their best wishes to the winners, calling it a proud moment not only for J&K Police but for the entire Union Territory.

“Keep pushing, keep winning! Our athletes have once again proved that discipline and dedication know no bounds,” the department added in a statement celebrating the win. (JKNS)
