Body of Manager Found Hanging Inside Indian Oil Corporation Premises, says official, Police Investigating Circumstances Surrounding Death
Srinagar, July 18: An Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) manager was found dead after allegedly dying by suicide in the Sempora area of Pantha Chowk, Srinagar, on Saturday morning, officials said.
An official told news agency JKNS that Yashpal Singh, Manager of Indian Oil Corporation, Sempora, was found hanging inside the Indian Oil Corporation premises in the morning.
Soon after receiving information about the incident, a police team from Police Station Pantha Chowk rushed to the spot and took cognisance of the matter, the official said.
Police have initiated legal proceedings, while further investigation has been taken up to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the death, the official added. (JKNS)
