Reasi: In a tragic incident, SDM Ramnagar Rajendra Singh Raina and his son lost their lives after a landslide hit their vehicle in the Salukh Ikhtar Nala area of Reasi district on Thursday evening.
According to reports, the family was returning home to Pattiyan from Dharmaadi when their Bolero was suddenly struck by a landslide along the Thuroo–Patia road, resulting in the on-spot deaths of Rajendra Singh and his son.
The driver of the vehicle also died in the incident, while Raina’s wife and two other relatives were seriously injured. They were immediately rescued and shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Local authorities have rushed to the spot to carry out rescue operation.
