Poonch, April 12 (GNS): A 23-year-old man was injured after Pakistani army violated ceasefire violation along the LoC in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday. Reports reaching GNS said that the civilian namely Mohd Showkat (23) son of Jalal Din sustained splinter injury in the shelling at Qasba village in Kirni sector. He was immediately shifted to a hospital in Rajouri for treatment, they said. “Today afternoon Pak initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing with small arms & intense shelling with Mortars along LoC in Kirni sector, District Poonch (J&K),” a defense spokesman said.
