Srinagar, March 27 (GNS): Unknown gunmen on Friday fired at and wounded a man in Redwani area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
A police officer told GNS that the suspected militants fired upon Mehraj-Ud-Din Bhat at Redwani this evening.
Bhat, an auto driver by profession suffered serious bullet wounds and was shifted to PHC Qaimoh for treatment.
A doctor at PHC Qaimoh told GNS that the man had suffered five bullet wounds in his arms and legs. Bhat was referred to GMC Anantnag for specialised treatment.
Soon after the incident, the officer said, the security forces launched a hunt to nab the assailants. (GNS)
