Srinagar, April 17 (GNS): A paramilitary CRPF trooper was injured in a militant attack at Newa area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday evening.
Reports reaching GNS said that the suspected militants attacked a joint camp of CRPF 183 BN and Police in Newa area today at around 7:30 pm. In the attack, one CRPF trooper was injured and has been hospitalized.
The injured has been identified as Inder Kumar son of Vishnu Kumar, a resident of Rajasthan.
A Doctor at DH Pulwama told GNS that they have received one CRPF trooper who has bullet injury in his left leg and his condition is stable.
Soon after the attack, forces cordoned off the whole area and launched searches to nab the attackers. (GNS)
