Jammu, Jan 28: The Jammu and Kashmir government has issued an advisory regulating the entry and parking of vehicles in and around the Civil Secretariat in Jammu in view of the upcoming 5th Session of the J&K Legislative Assembly.

According to Circular issued by the General Administration Department, no private vehicles of employees, including police personnel deployed for security duties, will be allowed inside the Civil Secretariat premises during the Assembly session.

The advisory states that parking space available in the new under construction Assembly Complex shall be utilised for parking of private vehicles of Civil Secretariat employees on a first come first serve basis. It further clarifies that no other vehicles, including escort vehicles or media vehicles, shall be parked in the designated areas earmarked exclusively for Civil Secretariat employees.

All officers and officials working in the Civil Secretariat have been directed to extend full cooperation to the Senior Superintendent of Police (Security) in regulating the movement and parking of vehicles to ensure smooth conduct of the Assembly session.

The government has also instructed all Administrative Secretaries to bring these directions to the notice of employees working under their respective departments for strict compliance.
