Srinagar, Nov 5(GNS): National Conference leader and MLA Hazratbal, Salman Sagar on Thursday dismissed reports of any rift within the party, saying there is no contradiction in the party and only small grievances of some members which will be sorted out through talks.
Speaking to reporters in Srinagar, Sagar as per GNS said a big misunderstanding is being created that there is any contradiction in the party. He said there is no such thing and the issues will be resolved.
He said the dissatisfied members have already got time fixed with the Chief Minister and a meeting is scheduled for tomorrow with Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
Sagar said there is nothing going on in the background and there is no need to worry much. He said in every house such small differences happen and the family sorts them out.
He said the leadership itself is directly in touch with all members and sometimes there is only a communication gap which causes small grievances.
Praising the senior leaders, Sagar said leaders like Abdul Rahim Rather (Gul Sahab), Nazir Ahmad Khan (Gurezi Sahab), Farooq Shah Sahab, Ajaz Jan Sahab and others from Rajouri are very tall leaders of the party. He said they have done a lot of work for the party, both administratively and politically, and their standing in the party is not ordinary.
He said those who wanted to enjoy the differences will get upset once the issue is resolved.
On the question of a press conference and Mission Notice, Sagar said he will speak in detail on it next time.(GNS)
