Srinagar, May 12 (GNS): Srinagar International Airport is among 32 airports that are now reopening for civilian flights amid ceasefire announced by India and Pakistan following four days of hostilities, officials said on Monday.

“Attention Flyers; reference notice issued for temporary closure of 32 Airports for civil Aircraft operations till 05:29 hrs of 15 May 2025.It is informed that these Airports are now available for civil Aircraft operations with immediate effect,” reads a notification issued by Corporate Communications Directorate, AAI.

“It is recommended for travellers to check flight status directly with Airlines and monitor Airline’s websites for regular updates.”

While Srinagar airport is a defence airport, an official of the AAI confirmed to GNS that Aerodrome closure NOTAM has been revoked and Airport is ready to facilitate flight operations. “Response from airline operators is awaited,” he added. (GNS)
