Anantnag, Sep 06 (GNS): A 36-year-old pedestrian was killed after being hit by an unknown vehicle at Fisheries Kokernag in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Officials told GNS that an unknown vehicle hit a pedestrian late night on Saturday identified as Tariq Ahmad Kalas, son of Mohd Shareef Kalas, resident of Shalnard, Lisser, Kokernag, age about 36 years.
He sustained critical injuries and was immediately shifted to SDH Kokernag for treatment where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and have launched a manhunt to trace the unknown vehicle.(GNS)
