Cracking a whip on illegal mining of minerals, Police in Baramulla have seized two tractors, one excavator and arrested their drivers.
Police seized 02 tractors, 01 Excavator & arrested their drivers identified as Nayeem Ahmad Baba son of Ab Ahad resident of Khanpora, Yaseen Ahmad Malik son of Habibullah Malik resident of Chak Dargam & Rayees Ahmad Khan son of Khursheed Ahmad resident of Bangdara for their involvement in illegal extraction/ transportation of minerals at Khanpora & Dargam Palhallan areas of Baramulla.
Accordingly, cases under relevant sections of law have been registered in PS Baramulla & PS Pattan and investigation have been initiated.
People are requested not to indulge in any kind of illegal mining activities from any Nallah as it is the violation of Government rules. Persons found indulging in illegal mining activities shall be dealt as per law.
