December 20: In continuation of its ongoing drive against illegal mining, Police in Awantipora seized 03 vehicles (tippers and dumpers) used in illegal excavation and transportation of minerals in Khrew.
Acting tough against the persons involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals, a Police party of Police Station Khrew headed by SHO PS Khrew seized three vehicles (02 tippers and 01 dumper).
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 99/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Khrew and further investigation has been initiated.
