PSA Case of MLA Mehraj Malik Listed for Feb 19; Govt to Continue Arguments Before High Court

Srinagar, Feb 12 : The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh on Thursday took up the Public Safety Act (PSA) case concerning MLA Mehraj Malik and scheduled the next hearing for February 19, 2026.

As per details available with news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, The matter was heard on February 12, during which the court fixed the subsequent date 19th February 2026, for continuation of arguments.

They said the government is expected to resume and continue its submissions before the court on the next date of hearing.

The case relates to the detention of the legislator under the PSA, and the court is examining the legal aspects of the detention order. (KNC)
