Srinagar: The crescent for the holy month of Ramadan 1445 A.H/2024 has been sighted this evening in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ergo marking the formal beginning of the fasting month.
Multiple media houses reported that the crescent of the holy month was sighted this evening, despite many reports earlier hinting about the unlikelihood about sighting of the moon.
With the formal declaration of the sighting of the moon, the Taraweeh prayers have been announced in two Holy mosques and elsewhere in the Gulf countries after the mandatory Isha prayers.
