Srinagar, Apr 19: The body of a retired armyman was found hanging from a tree in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara on Saturday, officials said.
The deceased was identified as Riyaz Ahmad Badana (45), a resident of Hatchmarg village in the Handwara area, they said.
A police team brought down the body, which was then sent for medico-legal formalities, they added.
A case has been registered and an investigation taken up, the officials said.(PTI)
