Doda, Aug 01: In view of the prevailing inclement weather conditions, the Chief Education Officer (CEO), Doda, on Saturday ordered the closure of all Government and Private schools across the district for the day as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff.
According to an official order, the decision has been taken in pursuance of the directions issued by the Deputy Commissioner (District Development Commissioner), Doda, and in continuation of the weather advisory already in force.
Despite the physical closure of educational institutions, the order directs all schools to conduct online classes strictly as per the prescribed timetable to ensure that academic activities continue without any disruption.
The district administration has urged educational institutions, students and parents to adhere to the advisory and cooperate with the authorities in the interest of public safety.
