August 31: Shri Tahir Saleem Khan–JKPS has assumed charge as the Senior Superintendent of Police, Police District Handwara, succeeding Shri Sahil Sarangal–IPS.
On assuming charge, Shri Tahir Saleem Khan expressed his commitment towards strengthening public safety, professional policing, community engagement and effective crime prevention, with a special focus on maintaining peace and security across the district.
