Area cordoned off, search operation launched
Anantnag, July 22 (GNS):A police personnel was critically injured in a firing incident on the Kokernag side road in Anantnag district on Wednesday.
The injured cop was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition is said to be critical, official sources told GNS.
Soon after the attack, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to track down the attackers.
