Srinagar, Mar 08 :At least seven individuals were injured after a vehicle carrying them skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge in Doda. An official told news agency Kashmir Bulletin that an Eeco vehicle bearing registration number JK06A 6642, on way to Fafri from Ghundna, skidded off the road and plunged into a 220 feet deep gorge. “In the incident, seven passengers were injured,” the official said, while identifying them as; Irfan Ahmed (40), son of Gh Rasool Butt, Nazim Butt (19), son of Mohd Yousif Butt, Mozim Shafi (19), son of Mohd Shafi, Mubashir Hussain (19), son of Mohd Yousif, Adil Hussain (30) son of Mohd Sabir, Ashiq Ali (17) son of Riyaz Ahmed – all residents of Dhival Ghundna. The official identified another injured person as Yasir Hamid (18), son of Abdul Hamid, a resident of Massri Ghundna. “All the injured persons have been shifted to GMC Doda for treatment,” the official added.
