Srinagar, July 31: Aspirants for the engagement of Vocational Trainers under Samagra Shiksha Jammu and Kashmir have alleged an inordinate delay in the declaration of recruitment results, claiming that nearly six months have passed since the completion of the selection process.

In a representation addressed to the Commissioner Secretary, School Education Department, the aspirants alleged that recruitment examinations and evaluations conducted through 17 Vocational Training Partners were completed during March and April this year for the engagement of 2,294 Vocational Trainers.

The aspirants claimed that although the prescribed timeline envisaged compilation of results within seven days, the results have not been declared, leaving thousands of candidates in uncertainty.

They further alleged that the prolonged delay had caused severe mental stress, anxiety and frustration among the aspirants, many of whom have been waiting for the completion of the recruitment process for several months.

The aspirants also alleged that during their repeated visits to the Directorate of Samagra Shiksha since July, they were met with contradictory responses and were unable to obtain a clear timeline for the declaration of results.

Seeking immediate government intervention, the aspirants urged the authorities to expedite the recruitment process, release the pending results without further delay and look into what they described as administrative lapses in handling the selection process. [KNT]
