SRINAGAR: WeeDel, a logistics firm based in Anantnag, today launched its services in south Kashmir region to bridge the gap between the suppliers and customers in the region. The company has committed itself to help the e-commerce businesses, which have seen a spike after the COVID-19 outbreak in the Valley, as their delivery partner in south Kashmir.
Weedel is offering both pick-up and delivery services to businesses and households which are looking for logistics partners for delivering their packets/packages within local limits. As of now, the service will be available within Anantnag and will be soon extended to Kulgam, Shopian and Pulwama, the company said in a statement issued here.
Speaking at the launch event, Sauqib Lachoo, Founder & CEO, WeeDel said, “We felt the need to have a logistics solutions provider in the area as there is hardly any well-organised logistics company in south Kashmir. We only have few courier agencies with limited services. The accessibility becomes a problem for small e-commerce businesses and households.”
The logistic sector for local delivery in south Kashmir is majorly unorganised which is usually run by individuals offering pick-up services to banks and other offices.
Now with the launch of WeeDel, the company is expecting a major shift in the quality of service in the logistics industry in the area. WeeDel has already set-up a team for running the operations so that the service quality and the delivery promises are met without any hiccups.
The pick-up can be simply ordered through a WhatsApp message or an IVR Number.
